No, it is not mandatory to go to Hooker Valley track and Tasman Glacier walk. We can drop you to your destination.

The temperature is similar to Tekapo. On windy days, it feels slightly cooler, while on calm days, it can feel warmer than Tekapo.
- Are there any souvenir shops in Mount Cook?

Souvenirs are available at the Hermitage Hotel and the Visitor Centre in Mt Cook, but Aotea Gifts in Tekapo offers a larger selection. We recommend visiting Aotea Gifts in Tekapo the day before to explore the options for Mt Cook.
