Itinerary

The shuttle operates once a day departing from the village at 9:45am.
We pick you up from your accommodations within the village and make our way to the Mount John Observatory. Upon reaching the mountain top at around 10:10am, you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time.
You have a time to relax and unwind at the Astro Cafe or take a walk around the observatory and summit circuit track.
Shuttle returns to the village around 11:50am.

The shuttle only operates when Mt. John Road is open. We will provide a full refund if the service is cancelled due to road conditions or unforeseen events.
